All Tom and Tana Boerger wanted in their first year of business was one or two celebrity endorsements to get the word out about CookieDaddy, their online cookie company.

It took the Boergers and Tan’s sister Alana Davidson just six months to hit the Hollywood jackpot – the Oscars.Last February, CookieDaddy received an invitation to be one of 30 vendors at the 2013 Academy Awards presentations in Los Angeles for the show’s exclusive celebrity guest lounge. That led to an invitation to the Emmys’ gift lounge in September.

By the end of 2013, CookieDaddy – a mom-and-pop company born in the basement of the Boergers’ Sanford home – had 60-plus endorsements from the likes of Ed O’Neill, Dennis Quaid and Sugar Ray Leonard.
