Kiwanis Park in Sanford at one point reached as high as 7th place in Kiwanis International’s 2017 “Legacy of Play” contest, which offers the opportunity to win $25,000 in playground equipment.
As of Tuesday morning, though, the park had fallen to 15th place in the vote tally.
