Americans are as likely to believe in Big Foot as they are the Big Bang Theory.
And why not? It’s a terribly overrated show.
The good news for you true Sasquatch aficionados is that the Big Foot Festival hosted by the Deep River Park Association will return for a second year on Oct. 14 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Camelback Bridge in Cumnock, site of the first festival last September.
Details on this year’s event are slim, but last year’s inaugural creature feature included contests for “hairiest man,” “best beard” and, of course, the “biggest foot.” The memorable mammalian menagerie also included real-life Big Foot researchers and investigators, a Q&A with the audience and storytelling for the kids.
Seriously, how fun does this look?
Proceeds will benefit the Deep River Park Association, a nonprofit group that cares for Deep River Park at Camelback Bridge and Carbonton Dam. We’ll have more when details are made available.

We all have different views on what’s funny or not so I will vote that the Big Bank Show is a funny show….Tim
correction….Big Bang Show
I would love to see an expedition into the Rockies for 2 months with the world’s greatest hunters and tracker to capture the creature alive.
Undefeated, all time great, Big Foot. Hide and Seek World Champion
Will there be a bigfoot festival this year 2022
