While NBC and the Voice haven’t released their performance lineup for Monday and Tuesday of this week, several hints — scheduled watching parties locally, suggestions on several “spoiler”forums and other sources — suggest Sanford’s own Britton Buchanan will perform alongside (and against) Jaclyn Lovey in the battle rounds Monday night (show begins at 8 p.m. on WRAL).

Buchanan and fellow Team Alicia Keys contestant Livia Faith were in Sanford Friday night signing autographs and taking photos with hundreds of fans at Karma Coffee & Boutiqe in Downtown Sanford. While both chatted with fans young and old, neither were contractually allowed to sing or reveal how they fared at this level of the program (the battle rounds were filmed weeks ago).

Wearing his now signature black Hawaiian shirt with pink and yellow flowers (the same he wore in the blind audition that kicked off Season 14), Buchanan and new friend Faith stuck around at Karma for over two hours Friday. They were joined by dozens of family and friends wearing black #TeamBritton T-shirts, which were also being sold at the door.

Should he top Lovey in the battle round (or if he loses and is “stolen” by another judge), Buchanan will move on to knockout round, facing off against another teammate, only this time he’ll be able to choose his own song and peform it alone.

If by chance we’ve been duped and he doesn’t appear Monday, then he would be among the performers in Tuesday’s one-hour show. He’ll likely appear against Wednesday night when The Voice airs its “Best of the Auditions and Battles” episode.

Meanwhile follow Buchanan on Twitter and Instagram, and while you’re at it, follow Livia Faith on Twitter and Instagram as well.
