With page views picking up considerably in the past year, The Rant announced Saturday it will expand in the near future to include a physical address and office building. Co-founder Billy Liggett said the soon-to-be departed K-Mart building on Horner Boulevard is the leading contender.

“It’s a little big, but the price was surprisingly in our ballpark,” Liggett said. “I can see my office where toys used to be, and my colleagues are currently arguing over who gets seasonal.”

The building will also provide enough room for podcasting, a meeting area and perhaps a break room.

“Plus, it’s near an Arby’s,” Liggett added. “That’s a definite plus.”
