A few months ago, we previewed a book examining the life and death of Sanford’s own J.D. McDuffie, a longtime NASCAR driver who was killed in a crash in 1991.
That book, written by California author Brock Beard, is now available for purchase. It features interviews with folks in and around Sanford who knew McDuffie, as well as others in the racing community. You can even read a preview of it by clicking the book cover on Amazon.
