Southern Lee baseball coach David Miller leaving for Northwood HS

Southern Lee High School baseball coach David Miller announced on Twitter last night that he was leaving the Cavaliers to take over as head coach at Northwood High School. Miller played at Lee County High School and has led the Cavaliers to three-straight conference titles.

For 18 years I've made decisions based on what was best for my teams and program. This time I am doing what is best for me and my family.

I am excited to accept the head baseball position at Northwood HS. I look forward to taking over the tradition rich @NHS___Baseball program

I will cherish my 8 seasons at Southern Lee and the bonds formed with my coaches, players, and parents. It meant a lot to work and give back in the same community where I grew up.
