The Rant was unable to find any construction permits having been issued for the address, and the listed architect directed inquiries to a real estate broker who didn’t return a call seeking comment.
In any case, the addition of a Harbor Freight would continue the commercial growth the area has experienced in recent years. According to the California company’s Wikipedia page, it operates more than 800 stores in 47 states. Several of those stores are in North Carolina, including in Raleigh, Fayetteville, Durham, Asheboro, and Burlington.
