
UPDATE (3:14 p.m.): Authorites have confirmed that Creador was employed as the bartender at the establishment at the time of the killing.
Sanford Police arrested a woman Wednesday morning after she allegedly stabbed another woman to death at a bar in the Jonesboro area.
Kimberly Coe Creador, 51, of Bailey Thomas Road in Sanford, is in custody and charged with first degree murder following the death of 39-year-old Tabetha Bailey O’Quinn. Police reported responding to the Backdoor Bar at 105 Main St. around 1 a.m. Wednesday after a report that O’Quinn had been stabbed in the abdomen.
O’Quinn was taken to Central Carolina Hospital, and then to UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill, where she died. Creador is in custody without bond and has a first appearance today.
