Sanford police are looking for the person or people responsible for shooting a 19 year old Wednesday night on Cross Street.
Jack Pinckney of Vass is in stable condition at UNC Hospital after being shot in the right hip around 11:20 p.m. at 510 Cross Street, police say. Pinckney was taken by helicopter after police responded to reports of gunfire at the address.
Officers have not yet made an arrest and said in a press release that “no suspects have been identified at this time.” Anyone with information is asked to call the Sanford Police Department at (919) 777-1051.
This did not happen at 510 Cross st. It happened at 514 Cross st and ran to the neighbors for help and to call 911. Stop reporting false information.
