Lee County sheriff’s deputies are seeking two suspects in connection with an armed robbery at the F & A Vape Shop at 2419 Jefferson Davis Highway in Tramway.

According to the sheriff’s office, an employee with Guard One Security of Fayetteville was working in the shop, which apparently doubles as a sweepstakes parlor, early Thursday morning when two men came into the business, overtook and disarmed him at gunpoint before going into the office area and taking an undisclosed amount of cash.

The report indicates that the security guard told deputies that the manager closed the business after the robbery and never made any report to law enforcement. Deputies were able to obtain a search warrant on Friday and get video footage of the robbery.

The two suspects were described as black men about six feet tall. It’s unknown whether this robbery is connected to a similar one at a Hawkins Avenue sweepstakes parlor that took place in November, but Capt. Jeff Johnson of the Lee County Sheriff’s Office said he didn’t believe the suspect descriptions matched.

Anyone who recognizes the suspects in the photos above or who has any information about the robbery is asked to contact the Lee County Sheriff’s Office at (919) 775-5531 or the department’s tip line at (919) 718-4577.
