Sanford police on Monday announced three additional arrests in the case of a woman who was killed by a stray bullet on Jan. 11.
Vicente Galarza Alvarez, 18, of 4293 McNeill Road in Harnett County and Jazmine Joanne Urrutia, 20, of 105 Cascade Court in Sanford, were located by Sanford Police and the U.S. Marshal service at the Days Inn at 1217 N. Horner Blvd. early Monday morning. About an hour earlier, Emrique Deangelo Lee, 20, of 1116 Juniper Drive was located by U.S. Marshals in Raleigh.
Alvarez and Lee each face charges of first degree murder, while Urrutia is charged with accessory after the fact to first degree murder.
The charges stem from a Jan. 11 incident in which 22-year-old Diamond Richardson was killed after being struck by a bullet while she rode in a friend’s car on Simmons Street. At the time, Sanford patrol officers heard the gunshots and responded to the location, where they found several young men running from the area. At the time, Rayshawn Donaldon and a 17-year-old juvenile were apprehended and charged with murder.
It’s unclear whether further charges are pending in the case. Alvarez and Lee were each jailed without bond, while Urruria is being held under $75,000 secured bond.
Dreamers doing what dreamers do
smh..super racist thing to say..what about the African American man..is that what Black men do? ” Black men doing what Black Mena do”?
Sorry racism has been brought into this when I’m reality they are all just idiots. Different shades of brown! Now what?! What’s upsetting is they took the life of another brown person who was a daugther, sibling, and a mother. Justice for that young lady is in order. Who cares of the race of the killers is what they truly are!
Good day.
