A day after recording its most confirmed COVID-19 cases in a single day (18), Lee County experienced another big day today with 15 new cases.
The county — which now ranks sixth out of 100 counties in the state for total cases per population — now has had 169 residents who have tested positive. It’s still the only county in the state with more than 100 cases and no deaths reported.
Of the 169, 149 individuals are currently being monitored, and 20 have been cleared to resume normal activities.
Demographic data looks like this:
-
- Percent by Gender
- 59% Female
- 41% Male
- Number of Cases by Age Range (through Wednesday):
- 0-24 24
- 25-44 65
- 45-64 58
- 65+ 7
- Percent by Gender
Wonder what Sherry Womack thinks about all this? I’m guessing the deaths are zero because of the low incidence of cases in the 65+ population. If the schools opened, if everything opened up, does she think this number won’t skyrocket?
I wonder why so many of the cases are female? Could it have to do with the ill-conceived teacher parades a few weeks ago?
Don’t be ridiculous. I was part of one of the parades a few weeks ago and I was never near another person. 🙄
Once again, how does this compare to the amount of tests that are being done. Testing has been ramped up and is available to most. Do some reporting guys. Right now you are just repeating the easy stuff. I doubt if it is all that bad unless you just want to broadcast bad news.
Nothing worse than someone trying to act smart but doesn’t know how to
Death rate is less than .05 percent. Let’s get this economy booming again. Wish your hands, keep your distance and let’s go.
Careful, your cult membership is showing.
I’m surprised someone isn’t upset that only 2 genders are listed.
U made me laugh during times of uncertainty! While some people are uncertain of things they should just know!!!
