We’ve been asked several times about what’s going in at Tramway between that palatial new gas station and the Hardee’s at the intersection of U.S. 1 and Tramway Road, and if the signs on site are any indication, we’re getting another Dollar General (that will make six locations in Lee County) and a second Dunkin’ Donuts.
If the rendering on that second sign is accurate, the new construction will have space for several other retailers as well.
Bill Keller, the general contractor for Rhetson Companies, told The Rant on Thursday that he expected the job to be done around December.
Rhetson Companies is linked with Par 5 Development out of West End in Moore County. Par 5 is the company which purchased a portion of the Kendale Shopping Center in August of 2019, and while no plans have been announced for Kendale, some renovation work has apparently begun in recent months.
We need to clean up the run down closed areas of shopping centers.
Wish something would come to Broadway. Broadway needs to be updated.
Can we get something that we don’t have already
Like a Sheetz
Wish Krispy Kreme would get here!
Would love to have a sheetz in tramway.
Wish Panara Bread would go in there!
A Chick-Fil-A would be nice too! Give the State 5 years to finish the Highway in Tramway and all of this and more will come.
We need a Real Doughnut Shop
Krispy Cream no one wants the Dry Doughnuts from Dunkin Doughnuts
I would take duck donuts over Dunkin. But rather have sandras. We need more variety and not something we already have.
Hey guys 🙂 how about instead of complaining about what’s coming into town , you actually invest in the community & make the things you want to see. You want a dunkin donut ? How about you get a group of investors together & franchise one. If your not in a position to do so just be grateful someone’s investing in Sanford.
