Sanford native and Voice finalist Britton Buchanan released the video for his new single today, “October Queen,” and — as promised in his recent podcast and interview with The Rant — the video features 24 icons from the horror movie genre.
The star-studded cast includes: Dee Wallace, Barbara Crampton, Kane Hodder, Danielle Harris, Mick Garris, Joe Bob Briggs, and Darcy the Mail Girl, Lloyd Kaufman, Michael Berryman, Linnea Quigley, Scout Taylor-Compton, Felissa Rose, Lisa Wilcox, Tuesday Knight, Toy Newkirk, Kelli Maroney, David Naughton, Gabrielle Stone, Belinda Balaski, Thom Mathews, Lori Cardille, R.A. Mihailoff, Katherine Kamhi, and Del Howison.
Together, the group represents just about every big horror flick in the past 50 years, from Friday the 13th to Nightmare on Elm Street, The Hills Have Eyes to The Howling and Cujo (even the guy who made Hocus Pocus is in it).
Check it out above, and get Britton his clicks. More singles are coming soon, and he tells The Rant his debut album is expected in 2021.
Great job Britton, keep up the hard work.
