A Lee County woman is in custody after allegedly trying to set fire to her home during a domestic dispute, according to sheriff’s deputies.
Sheila Renee Johns of Soco Lane in the Tramway area faces a charge of first degree arson. Deputies said Amdendrius McRae called around 5 a.m. Wednesday to report that Johns, during a dispute over a laptop computer, poured lighter fluid on their bedroom floor and set it on fire. Damage to the residence was estimated at $1,000.
Johns was placed in the Lee County Jail without bond.
