The Lee County Board of Education voted 5-2 Tuesday night to extend the contract of Superintendent Dr. Andy Bryan by one year.
The vote came after a closed session which lasted nearly two hours. Republicans Pam Sutton and Sherry Womack voted against the extension, while Republicans Sandra Bowen and Christine Hilliard and Democrats Pat McCracken, Patrick Kelly and Lynn Smith voted in favor. Smith made the motion to extend the contract, and Kelly seconded.
Bryan’s contract was set to expire at the end of June. Board members made no comment about the extension and adjourned immediately following the vote.
Earlier in the meeting, the board voted unanimously to return high school students to in person instruction four days per week.
Who gives a damn what a man does in his private life, he can spank who ever he wants as long as it’s consensual, I imagine the person who brought the photos secretly desires to be spanked by somebody. He can find any of that on the internet he doesn’t have to take his frustration out on another person, because he is jealous he can’t get spanked.
Dr. Andy Bryan has done the job. He deserves better than a 1-year extension. We are lucky to have him.
