Sanford police are investigating the Halloween night shooting death of a man in east Sanford.
Officers responded around 9:05 p.m. Sunday night to the intersection of Simmons and South Moore streets and found 27-year-old Jamar Raynique Griffin Jr. of Cameron suffering from gunshot wounds in the roadway.
Griffin was taken to Central Carolina Hospital by EMS, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Police didn’t provide any additional details other than to say the case is under investigation and that anyone with information about Griffin’s death should contact the department at (919) 777-1051.

The 2nd guy, Polly as a gma her neglect to raise her children have produced seeds just as bad. Looks like the apple does not fall fair from the tree at all. He was a rising stat with ball game and now this. To the family who lost the love one, I hope you find comfort in knowing your son/nephew/grandson/brother/or father murders have been captured.
