A Sanford woman was arrested after making a violent threat at a Lee County middle school on Wednesday.
Jasmine Walker, 29, of North Gulf Street was charged with making a threat of mass violence at a school, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.
Walker is alleged to have been in West Lee Middle School’s car line on Wednesday morning when she became involved in an argument and made verbal threats against both staff members and the school itself before leaving campus.
The school was placed on a “soft lockdown” while deputies investigated. Walker was located off campus later in the day and arrested without incident.
She was placed in the Lee County Jail without bond, although the jail’s website no longer lists her as a current inmate.
