San-Lee’s Gravity Park officially reopened Saturday with a ribbon cutting, a safety briefing, and multiple trips along the park’s five new mountain biking trails.
The trails were renovated in just under nine months after closing in April following a series of injuries. The Rant Monthly featured the process of redesigning the trails in October. Lee County Manager Dr. John Crumpton said county staff counted more than 300 riders and guests in attendance on Saturday.
San-Lee Park is located at 760 Pumping Station Road in Sanford.
