Republicans Chris Gaster, Alan Rummel and Eric Davidson emerged Tuesday as the top choices of Lee County Republicans for three spots on the November ballot for the Lee County Board of Education, with Kenna Wilson trailing by several hundred votes.
With all precincts reporting unofficial vote totals, Gaster led the field with 2,486 votes, followed by Rummel with 2,312 and Davidson with 2,205. Wilson had 1,558.
The three will face Democrats Walter Ferguson, Christine Hilliard, and Pat McCracken in November, with the top three vote getters taking office.
Proof of how stupid the Republican electorate is here. Gaster was the top vote-getter, even after admitting he wasn’t qualified for the job. Oh, except he says God called him. Meanwhile, Eric Davidson, the most qualified candidate in the race, came in third (although less than 300 away from Gaster).
At least they got rid of Kenna Wilson, whose only motivation for running was to settle personal scores.
See ya Kenna! Enjoy reading them emails.
Great job guys, can’t wait till November, We need to get more conservatives on the board, stay true to who you are, God has a plan, the entire country is seeing a red wave,
Relax and kick up your feet. Heck… Why even vote at all? Seems like a waste of your time. I’m sure God’s got you covered and his plan will prevail! Stay home and enjoy yourself and God’s plan! Why stop there? Stop wearing a seatbelt. If God wants you to die in a car accident, a seatbelt won’t matter. Go to the doctors? Gym? Eat healthy? Seems like a waste of money under God’s health insurance plan. Quit your job and enjoy life! If God wants to foreclose or tax sale, thou shalt not question God’s plan! But I wouldn’t worry, God would NEVER allow that to happen to such a loyal subject of his. I’m sure he will snap his fingers and save your home.
WTH are you talking about 🤯
Congratulations to all three… The board needs you now more that ever!!
