A Sanford man is facing multiple drug and weapons charges after Lee County sheriff’s deputies found heroin, crystal methamphetamine and three rifles in his home.

Allen Aldridge, 36, of 511 N. Horner Blvd. was charged with three counts of possession of a firearm by a felon, trafficking heroin by possession, possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession with intent to sell and deliver a schedule III controlled substance, maintaining a dwelling for drugs, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Deputies reported Wednesday that they executed a search warrant at Aldridge’s home on May 19 and found a “trafficking amount” of heroin (defined as four or more grams), two grams of crystal methamphetamine, and buprenorphine hydrochloride, a schedule III controlled substance.

Aldridge was taken into custody without incident and placed in the Lee County Jail under $250,000 secured bond.
