Sanford police have arrested a local man in connection with a shooting death that occurred on Oct. 12.
DaCarlos Thermaine Johnson, 44 of Scott Avenue in Sanford was charged Monday with first degree murder. Police say he is responsible for the shooting death of Marlin Jermaine Baldwin on Oct. 12 at Baldwin’s home on Greenland Drive in Sanford.
Police didn’t specify a motive for the alleged murder in their press release Tuesday.
Johnson was placed in the Lee County Jail without bond.
Marlon Jermaine Baldwin is the correct spelling of his name. Additionally, he was visiting the house on Greenland he did not live there.
