Lee County sheriff’s deputies arrested a man Tuesday who had been served with domestic violence papers the day before on suspicion of starting a fire at his own home.
Deputies on Monday had served Derek John Welsch, 43, of 192 Luck Lane in Sanford with a domestic violence protective order. The same night, authorities responded to a fire at that address and “discovered that … Welsch was responsible for starting the fire,” according to a press release.
The release didn’t indicate whether anyone was home at the time or if anyone was injured.
Deputies located Welsch on Tuesday and charged him with second degree arson, violating a domestic violence protective order, and communicating threats. He was placed in the Lee County Jail without bond.
We need to start manufacturing 2,000 gallon flush toilets. When we have someone like this who is no good to their own life, and, a threat to innocent others, flush them away! Stop pretending there are redeeming qualities that are reasons for keeping this kind of despicable being to roam free! When the law allows this to exist, it means they are more concerned of employment security than the life and safety of others. As long as this is allowed to exist, there will be multiple other instances where harm will come to to others, or severe property damage. STOP PRETENDING that human filth has a place in society among us.
I am very close with the lady whom’s house he destroyed and though fortunately, she and her dog were not home at the time… due to his repeated violence, it was a great loss. Thank you for your words.
I’ve had several family members in law enforcement. A Sheriff Deputy, a Highway Patrolman, and two in the FBI. They all told me the same. The system is made and designed to ALLOW those guilty of even the most heinous criminal acts, freedom with bail, bond, or on own recognizance. The more freedom they have, the more harm they can do. That ensures and GUARANTEES those in law enforcement, job security.
Human life isn’t precious, just a massive commodity. If human life had value, why are these filth allowed back on the streets? I mean, even in the laws eyes, our Constitutionally Protected Rights and our rights under the Bill of Rights means nothing to anyone. Due process and Equal Protection is a laughable joke. I have watched You Tube videos (average 17-20 daily) for a total of more than 5,000 of them, in a years time. Over 365 days as a retired man, that is more than 5,500 videos total. Of those videos, I have seen law enforcement deliberately, willing and with malice, break every Constitutional Right you have and all those under your Bill of Rights. Broke those a total of 70,000 times in 5,000 videos. Even with others recording and their own body cameras, prosecutors and judges DO NOTHING! Even tho it is a illegal to pretend someone broke the law which gives them FALSE probable cause, to stop, harass, make searches, and kidnap you under false pretenses after making an arrest, plus Felony Grand Theft Auto when your vehicle is towed, less than 2% of the time following up on those videos, did a judge do the right thing. You mean nothing as a flesh and blood human being. Take a look at those killed by the law when they WERE NOT even armed. No judge cares about you, nor any DA. They just want job security. No one in law enforcement has any immunity of any nature, when they commit a felony or are guilty of Perversion of Justice! No Qualified, No Sovereign and no Governmental. As such, why do you keep electing those that are worthless to you/us as individuals? What good is anyone with no moral character, human decency, competence in their job, and even guilty of just pure outright corruption consistently!
Where’s that toilet? They just caught 4 of the loser’s meth-head buddies at the burned property this morning trying to steal what little was left there!
By the way, in NC out of every 100 stops by ALL law enforcement, only 20% result in any real criminal act. In essence, the other 80% is illegal and just outright sickening harassment.
