Downtown Sanford’s annual StreetFest and Fireworks event will kick off at 1 p.m. on Saturday with a full day of live music, food, vendor shopping, and more. The event will culminate with a downtown fireworks show at 8:30 p.m.

Musical acts on the main stage include Workin’ on Commission, the Megan Doss Band and CAT5. There will be street stage performances from Triple Pointe Dance Academy, the Temple Teen Ensemble, Danza Azteca Olin, Black Belt Leadership Academy, Prime Time Dance Academy, the Lee County High School Show Choir, and Dancer’s Workshop. There will be 19 food trucks along Steele, Moore and Carthage streets, and virtually all downtown restaurants will be open for business. Additionally, a roster of craft vendors will be on site with all manner of wares for purchase.

Finally, the festival will include a large component dedicated to the Hispanic community and heritage in the form of Latino Fest, which features multiple activities, vendors, exhibitors, and performances along Wicker Street.
