The Rant is seeking an advertising director. Duties will include soliciting advertisements from businesses, institutions and individuals in our print product, The Rant Monthly, as well as on our web platforms.
Additional responsibilities will include interfacing with existing customers for the purpose of keeping ads up to date, designing ads, working with the business accountant to ensure timely billing of customers, and collecting on invoices.
The preferred candidate will be willing to make cold calls and visits to businesses, have experience in both sales and graphic design, have reliable transportation and phone/internet access, good written and verbal communication skills, and fluency in Microsoft Excel.
