WNCN News is reporting that a 3-month-old puppy was knifed in Pittsboro last week during a domestic dispute between two humans (at least we’re assuming the puppy was not involved in the dispute).
“Bella” is recovering at the Chatham Animal Rescue and Education facility, which is raising money to fund the pup’s surgery.
Visit Bella’s GoFundMe page to donate money toward her medical bills. CARE is about $1,600 away from meeting its $6,600 goal.
