Lost in the police reports last week was a report of a “shooting into occupied property” causing $3,500 in damage to three vehicles and a house located in the West Landing subdivision in West Sanford just after midnight on April 20.
Maurice Shaquan Williams reported the shooting at his home on Windmere Drive, saying bullets damaged the left side doors of his Mercedes, the trunk and windows of a friend’s Nissan and the back windows of another friend’s Saturn. Bullets also struck the home, causing damage to the vinyl siding, a window, the roof and inside sheet rock. Nobody was injured in the shooting.
