The News and Observer’s political blog, Under the Dome, reported Friday on several new hires by Tim Moore, the new Speaker of North Carolina’s House of Representatives.
Among those hires is Aaron Fleming, identified in the N&O piece as “a former Wake County Schools administrator.” Fleming actually comes to his new job as a policy advisor for agriculture and education from Lee County Schools, where he was until recently the district’s career and technical education director.
The piece also notes that “Julie Garrison Lisella, director of boards, commissions and constituent services, also continues in her job from the Tillis years.” Sources tell the Rant that Lisella is a native of Sanford.
