In a Monday morning tweet, Republican Ronald Rabin, who represents Lee and Harnett counties in the North Carolina Senate, celebrated the arrival of spring:

Spring, of course, begins on March 20.
The Facebook link in the tweet doesn’t appear to work, although as of 10:20 a.m. Monday, the tweet itself remained posted.
Rabin, who was first elected in 2012 and is now serving his third term, was part of a Sanford Herald story (subscription required) just last week about politicians and their use of social media.
