The takeout/delivery restaurant, which will occupy a storefront in the Shops at Cameron Place shopping center on South Horner Boulevard, is set to “open soon,” according to a sign on the building’s awning. Other restaurants occupying the development include Aye! Toro, Sarkus Express, Buffalo Wild Wings, Dunkin’ Donuts, and Roasted and Toasted.
According to the Marco’s website, the company was founded in Toledo, Ohio in 1978 and now boasts more than 700 restaurants in 30 states and four countries. There are at least a couple dozen Marco’s locations in North Carolina, including in the Triangle, Triad, Fayetteville, and Wilmington areas.
“Marco’s is ranked as a top opportunity for franchising in several publications, but also loved by customers and in 2015 Marco’s was voted number 3 by Consumer Reports, and is fast becoming recognized as one of the top-performing restaurant franchises in the country,” the website reads.
The Rant has reached out to the company by email about an official opening date.
