WTVD and WRAL both have informative stories about the suspicious man who’s been reported lurking near area bus stops and even attempting to lure children into his vehicle, and it’s worth your time to take a few minutes and watch:
Although the news surfaced earlier this week, important to note in WRAL’s report is that the sightings have been occurring for as many as three weeks.
Lee County Sheriff Tracy Carter and Lee County Schools have both shared Facebook updates about the incident, urging area residents to be watchful:
Nobody has been caught, but the suspicious man has been described vaguely as Hispanic and driving a black or blue sedan, possibly a Chevrolet. Authorities have asked anybody who sees anything suspicious near a bus stop to call 911.
