Coach’s Neighborhood Grill opened on New Year’s Eve at 1707 S. Horner Blvd., the once-blighted former location of the ill-fated Ham’s and Toot’s locations, and if the decor, the crowds and the food are any indication, it appears that business will be good.
Management reported large numbers of curious patrons in the first three days of business, and a quick sampling of the menu revealed meals with fresh, quality ingredients (it doesn’t seem like the “boil in a bag” stuff you get at some chain restaurants) at affordable prices – burgers are around $10, while there are plenty of lunch special for $6 or $7.
Here’s a look at the inside, which clearly has seen some extensive renovations. Welcome to the community, Coach’s.
