The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is seeking a Knightdale man after he allegedly defrauded a tire dealer of $12,000 in merchandise.
Warrants are on file charging Joshua Eugene Cole, 25, of Knightdale with obtaining property by false pretense. According to the sheriff’s office, Cole is believed “along with other unknown individuals” to have defrauded tire outlets in other cities, including Dunn, Clinton, Raleigh, Greensboro, Henderson, and Williamston.
Deputies didn’t say when or at which tire outlet Cole is alleged to have made the fraudulent transactions.
