Five-star Sanford football phenom Desmond Evans announced on Twitter today that he would make his college choice at the Homecoming pep rally at Lee County High School at 2 p.m. Friday.

The top-ranked recruit in North Carolina, Evans was the subject of The Rant’s cover story in September. At that time, he had narrowed his list down to five schools — UNC, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Florida and South Carolina.
ESPN recently named Evans as the #2 recruit in the nation.
