Lee County Government confirmed nine new cases of the Coronavirus on Thursday afternoon, bringing the county’s total to 299.
The recovered number also jumped by 17 to 133 on Thursday. There have been three COVID-related deaths in Lee County.
The county only discloses demographic information – age range and gender – of those who have tested positive. The information is reported on a 24 hour delay, so the nine new cases announced Thursday are not included below.
But of the 290 cases reported through Wednesday, 56 percent were female and 44 percent were male. There were 45 cases in people under 24, 119 between 25 and 44, 108 between 45 and 64, and 18 who were 65 or older.
