Lee County Government announced Friday that it had confirmed 16 new Coronavirus cases since Wednesday, bringing the total number of residents who have tested positive to 359.

Four of the new cases were confirmed on Thursday, and 12 more on Friday. The number who have recovered also jumped by 26 to 196 on Monday. There have been three COVID-related deaths in Lee County.

The county only discloses demographic information – age range and gender – of those who have tested positive. The information is reported on a 24 hour delay, so the 12 new cases announced Fridayare not included below.

But of the 347 cases reported through Thursday, 53 percent were female and 47 percent were male. There were 57 cases in people under 24, 137 between 25 and 44, 130 between 45 and 64, and 23 who were 65 or older.
