A developer has proposed a plan to the city of Sanford to locate ten duplexes and two single family homes on a 5.3 acre lot at the intersection of Seventh and Bragg streets in east Sanford.
The plan is under review and would require a rezoning to accommodate the home and is on the Sanford Technical Review Committee’s March agenda.
Harrington Properties of Sanford purchased the lot in 2018, according to documents on file with the Lee County Register of Deeds. Interestingly, the seller was Paxton Media Group, owner of The Sanford Herald, which had apparently planned at one time to construct a new building on the site.
