Deputies with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday that the human remains located in western Lee County on Friday are those of Cory Dale Moore, who went missing near the same area in September.

Moore, 32, had been reported missing after leaving his grandmother’s Pickard Road home on foot.

Investigators didn’t release any further information, including the cause of death, pending the final autopsy report.
