Sanford police have arrested a local man in connection with a shooting death that occurred Monday morning at the Prince Motel in downtown Sanford.
Dedrick Dewayne Lipscomb faces one count of first degree murder. He is accused of killing Marquas Sintrell Roseboro.
The Sanford Police Department’s press release on the arrest doesn’t include any information about Lipscomb, but the Lee County Jail’s website indicates that he’s 45 years old and lists the Prince Motel as his address. Lipscomb was reportedly located at a residence in Fayetteville.
Lipscomb was placed in the Lee County Jail without bond.
