Clearing of a forested area behind the Food Lion along U.S. 1 in Tramway has begun in order to make room for a 252 unit apartment complex to be known as Pine Reserve.
Plans on file with the Sanford-Lee County Planning Department show the proposed complex to include 10 buildings (three of which will be done in a first phase, with the remaining buildings to come in a second phase), and a swimming pool. Access to the 14.5 acre site will be from Center Church Road, as well as from the adjoining shopping center.
Lee County’s GIS map already shows the roads which will be cut through the site.
Hope these apts include some senior housing rates
Amen to that. Rents are skyrocketing.
Those of us who are retired will have more Medicare costs coming out of our checks in 2022, along with everything else going up
What is going to be done about Tramway school traffic? It’s already a mess.
Tramway school traffic is awful, there was not enough planning done when they built the school, there needs to be a separate exit , looked good on paper , lol
Glad my kid will be done at Tramway by the time the building is done the traffic is going to be a mess, it is already bad there this is just going to make it so much worse! Although I do agree we need the places for people to live, we do need to consider the roads too.
