$ 50.00 ??
Just announced! Parker McCollum (“Pretty Heart”) will be performing at the Taylor Phillips Hits Lee County with Friends concert.
$50 is way too much for a show
That clown skull sums it up. Only a fool would pay $50 for that show.
It’s a benefit concert, this might be shocking to a lot of you commenters but some people actually donate money to charity without receiving anything. These guys are coming to our community to raise money for a worthy cause and receive negative comments, it’s really sad.
This may be a shocker to you, but Mr. Phillips and his “friends” aren’t doing this show for free. I’m interested to see what percentage of the proceeds are actually going to the cause.
Yeah, I’m sure he’s expected to get paid from performing, but that’s a money-maker for him, doesn’t mean he won’t donate to a charity that’s close to his heart with some of his earnings. Our arts have taken a hard hit and if that means paying a higher price to see a live performance, right here at home to. In a town that could benefit from this opportunity. I know I could benefit in hearing some live music with friends/family, see some folks I haven’t seen in a great while, and maybe make another friend or two will doing so. It bets paying to pay an outrageous price to eat/meet/greet with a politician, who’s just benefitting their own agenda by telling lies and false promises and their idea of charity, is stealing donated money from dying Children stricken with Cancer.
