Lee County government will break ground on the Lee County Athletic Park on Friday, Dec. 8 at 10 a.m.
The event is the culmination of a 2020 bond referendum in which the sports complex was approved with nearly 59 percent of the vote. The LCAP will be located on Broadway Road near its intersection with the U.S. 421 bypass.
