A Southern Pines-based sandwich shop will open a second location in downtown Sanford soon, according to a post by the company on Facebook.
Wedgies has operated a location on Morganton Road in Southern Pines since 1999, specializing in “hot deli sandwiches on a parbaked pizza crust” that are cut into the shape of a wedge. The company announced in a Facebook post on Monday that it would open a second location on Moore Street in Sanford, the former location of Java Express next to the Sanford Antique Mall.
The post indicates there’s no opening date yet, but the company is “working diligently to get there as quickly as possible.” See the full Wedgies menu here.
